Shelly B. Williams, author of Crossing the Finish Line, is a voracious reader and a lover of all genres. However, sneaking to read her mother's Harlequin romances as a kid is what sparked her passion for writing at a young age. Born in the Midwest to interracial parents, this mother of three has been happily married to her high school sweetheart for the past twenty-four years. She loves writing emotional, heartfelt stories about first love, star-crossed lovers, and second chances.
